Enclosed within the grounds of a modern Dublin new build, sits our Sculptural Modern Garden Project. This blank canvas was transformed to bring outdoor living into a harmonious extension of contemporary life. In our design, we considered both aesthetic precision and the practical needs of international family living to construct this outdoor space, balancing curated easy-to-care-for greenery with architectural sophistication; developing a sanctuary where nature and design live in harmony.

This transformation began with our team installing rich, velvety new lawn across this blank builder-finished space, freshly rolled and manicured to perfection. Underfoot, it’s soft yet resilient, we wanted our clients to be invited out into their garden for barefoot strolls and spontaneous play, while this feature still serves as a visual breath between the structural elements of urban life.

Encircling the lawn are bespoke raised beds, sculptural yet subtle in their form, echoing the geometry of the home’s architecture. We designed these beds to act as more than just planters; they are a warm hug of floral delight. Lush with seasonal tulips in shades of pink and purple, they deliver a palette that sways between elegance and drama. Interspersed among the blooms, graceful ferns and olive trees unfurl themselves, adding height and texture. We handcrafted each raised bed to complement the garden’s architectural lines, acting as punctuation marks that draw the eye without overwhelming the space.

At the heart of the garden, we added a striking anthracite garden room; sleek, minimal, and utterly cosmopolitan. Clad in deep charcoal tones that contrast perfectly with the garden’s colour story, this structure serves as an all-season retreat. We included wide sliding doors and floor-to-ceiling glazing, to build this multifunctional space. It’s a place where morning coffee is shared before work begins, where children read in the glow of late afternoon sun, and where guests gather for garden-side dinners that stretch into starry nights. This garden room blurs the boundary between indoors and out, inviting in natural light while maintaining privacy and comfort for our homeowners.
