1. About us and these terms

1.1 These terms apply to every purchase from Oriana B, whether you buy online at www.orianab.com, by phone or email, or in our showroom. Please read them before you order.

1.2 Oriana B is a trading name of KLJCR Ireland Limited, a company registered in Ireland (company number 597337, VAT number IE3456157JH). Our registered office and showroom is at Unit 95 Grange Way, Baldoyle Industrial Estate, Dublin 13, D13 W6X7. You can contact us at hello@orianab.com or on +353 1 539 7861.

1.3 These terms are written for consumers, meaning people buying for personal use. If you buy for business purposes, including as a trade customer, separate trade terms apply.

1.4 Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022.

1.5 The terms that apply to your order are the ones shown on this page on the day you place it. We may update these terms from time to time, but changes won't affect orders already placed.

1.6 Our Refund Policy, Delivery information and Privacy Policy form part of these terms. If anything in them conflicts with these terms, these terms apply.

2. Our products

2.1 We photograph and describe our pieces as accurately as we can. Colours can look different on different screens, so the shade you receive may vary slightly from what you see online. We're happy to send fabric or finish samples where available.

2.2 Many of our pieces are made from natural materials such as solid wood, marble, stone, rattan, linen and leather. Variations in grain, veining, colour and texture are part of their character and are not faults.

2.3 Dimensions are given as accurately as possible, but handmade and natural pieces may vary by up to 5%. Please check the measurements of the piece against your space before ordering.

2.4 You are responsible for making sure your piece will fit through the access route to the room it's going in, including doorways, hallways, stairwells and lifts. If you're unsure, contact us before ordering and we'll share the packed dimensions.

3. Placing an order

3.1 When you place an order, you are making an offer to buy. We'll email you to acknowledge it. The contract between us is formed when we confirm acceptance of your order by email, or when we take payment in our showroom.

3.2 We may decline an order before accepting it, for example if an item is no longer available or there is an obvious error in the price or description. If we do, we'll refund any payment in full.

3.3 If part of your order becomes unavailable after we've accepted it, we'll contact you. You can choose a suitable alternative, wait for the item, or cancel that part of the order for a full refund.

3.4 Please check your order confirmation carefully, particularly sizes, colours, fabrics and finishes, and tell us straight away if anything is wrong.

4. Prices and payment

4.1 All prices are in euro and include Irish VAT at the applicable rate. Delivery charges are shown separately at checkout before you pay.

4.2 Prices can change, but the price you pay is the price confirmed when your order is accepted.

4.3 If we've made an obvious pricing error, we won't be bound to supply at the incorrect price. We'll contact you before dispatch, and you can either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

4.4 Online and phone orders are paid in full at the time of ordering. Showroom payment terms, including deposits, are set out in section 9.

4.5 Sale prices apply to the items shown and for the period stated. Sale prices can't be applied to orders already placed.

5. Made-to-order and customised pieces

5.1 Some pieces are made or customised to your specification, for example in a size, fabric, colour or finish you choose. These are marked as made to order on the product page, in your quote or on your order confirmation.

5.2 Because these pieces are produced specifically for you, they can't be cancelled or returned once your order has been accepted, unless they are faulty or not as described. This applies to online, phone and showroom orders. For online and phone orders, this reflects the exception to the 14-day right to cancel for goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised.

5.3 Please check every specification carefully before confirming your order. Once production has started, we can't make changes.

5.4 Made-to-order pieces have longer lead times. We'll give you an estimated delivery window when you order and keep you updated if it changes.

6. Delivery

6.1 We deliver to the address in your order. Delivery charges and the countries we deliver to are shown on our Delivery information page and at checkout.

6.2 For in-stock items, we'll deliver within 30 days of accepting your order unless we agree a different date with you. For made-to-order pieces and items on pre-order, we'll give you an estimated delivery window when you order. If we can't deliver within the agreed time, we'll let you know, and if the delay is significant you can cancel for a full refund.

6.3 We may deliver your order in more than one delivery if items are ready at different times. We won't charge you extra delivery for this.

6.4 For larger pieces, our delivery team will contact you to arrange a delivery date. Before delivery, please:

  • make sure an adult aged 18 or over is present to receive the order
  • clear the room and the access route, including removing obstructions such as rugs, low-hanging lights and existing furniture
  • let us know in advance about any access difficulties, such as narrow stairs, no lift or restricted parking

6.5 If nobody is at the address at the agreed time, or we can't deliver because of access problems we weren't told about, we'll return the goods to our warehouse. A redelivery charge equal to the original delivery charge will apply.

6.6 Please check your order on delivery and tell the delivery team, or us within 48 hours, about any visible damage. Where possible, photograph the damage and keep the packaging. This helps us resolve things quickly. It doesn't limit your rights if damage or a fault only becomes apparent later.

6.7 The goods are our responsibility until they are delivered to you or someone you nominate. You own the goods once we've received full payment.

6.8 Our delivery team will take care in your home. If we damage your property through our own negligence, we are responsible for it. Please report any such damage to us as soon as possible.

6.9 For deliveries within Dublin, our own team will assemble your furniture and take away the packaging. Outside Dublin, deliveries are made by third-party couriers who don't assemble furniture or remove packaging. Assembly instructions are included where needed.

7. Collection and storage

7.1 You can collect your order from our Baldoyle showroom by appointment once we've confirmed it is ready and paid for in full. Please bring a suitable vehicle; our team can't guarantee help with loading heavy items.

7.2 Once you or your carrier collects the goods, they are your responsibility. Please check them before you leave.

7.3 When your order arrives in stock, we'll hold it free of charge for 4 weeks while we arrange delivery or collection with you. After that, we may charge storage at €20 per item per week. If we can't reach you to arrange delivery for 3 months after the item arrives, and we've made reasonable attempts to contact you, we may cancel the order and refund you, less any storage charges and reasonable costs.

8. Online and phone orders: your right to cancel

8.1 This section applies to orders placed online, by phone or by email. It doesn't apply to purchases made and paid for in our showroom (see section 9).

8.2 You can cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of the day you, or someone you nominate, receive the goods. If your order arrives in more than one delivery, the 14 days run from the day you receive the last item. You can also cancel at any time before delivery. This applies to sale items in the same way as full-price items.

8.3 This right doesn't apply to:

  • made-to-order or customised pieces (see section 5)
  • sealed goods that aren't suitable for return for health or hygiene reasons once unsealed

8.4 To cancel, tell us clearly within the 14 days by emailing hello@orianab.com. You can use our cancellation form, but you don't have to.

8.5 You must return the goods, or make them available for collection, within 14 days of telling us you're cancelling. Please pack them securely, ideally in the original packaging, so they aren't damaged on the way back to us.

8.6 You are responsible for the cost of returning the goods. Smaller items can be returned by post or courier. For larger items that can't be sent by post, we can collect them for €50 within Dublin or €100 elsewhere in Ireland; for other countries we'll give you a quote. We'll deduct the collection charge from your refund.

8.7 We'll refund the price of the goods and the standard delivery charge you paid. If you chose a more expensive delivery option, such as a timed or express delivery, we'll refund only the cost of our standard delivery. We'll refund you within 14 days of you telling us you're cancelling, but we may hold the refund until we've received the goods back or you've shown us you've sent them, whichever is sooner. Refunds go back to your original payment method.

8.8 You may handle the goods as you would in a shop to check what they are and how they look. If the goods have been used or handled beyond that, or are damaged or incomplete, we may reduce your refund to reflect the loss in value.

9. Showroom purchases

9.1 This section applies when you place and pay for your order in our Baldoyle showroom. If you visit the showroom but place your order later online, by phone or by email, section 8 applies instead.

9.2 The statutory 14-day right to cancel doesn't apply to purchases made in person. We're happy to help you check sizes, colours and finishes in the showroom before you buy, but we don't offer refunds or exchanges on showroom purchases if you change your mind. This includes sale items. Any exchange we agree to is at our discretion.

9.3 In-stock items bought in the showroom are paid for in full at the time of purchase.

9.4 For made-to-order pieces and items ordered in from our suppliers, we take a deposit of 50% of the order value when you place your order. The balance is due within 7 days of us telling you the item has arrived in stock, and before delivery or collection.

9.5 If you cancel a showroom order after we've accepted it, we'll keep your deposit to cover the costs we've already committed to, such as ordering or producing your piece. If a made-to-order piece has already been produced for you when you cancel, the full price is payable, as we can't resell it.

9.6 If we cancel your order, or can't deliver within the agreed time, we'll refund your deposit and any other payment in full.

9.7 Your rights if goods are faulty or not as described are the same however you buy from us (see section 10).

10. Faulty goods

10.1 Everything we sell must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose and as described. If it isn't, you have legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2022, however and wherever you bought it. In summary:

  • within 30 days of delivery, you can reject the goods for a full refund
  • after that, or if you prefer, you can ask for a repair or replacement
  • if a repair or replacement isn't possible or doesn't fix the problem, you can ask for a price reduction or reject the goods for a refund

10.2 To report a fault, email hello@orianab.com with your order number, a description of the problem and photos or a short video. We may need to inspect the piece, either in your home or at our premises, before agreeing the best remedy.

10.3 We'll cover the reasonable cost of returning or collecting faulty goods.

10.4 The following are not faults:

  • natural variation in materials, as described in section 2.2
  • normal wear and tear
  • damage caused by misuse, accidents or not following our care instructions
  • damage that happens after delivery or collection

10.5 Some pieces also come with a manufacturer's guarantee. Any guarantee is in addition to your legal rights, not instead of them.

11. Our liability

11.1 We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. Loss is foreseeable if it was an obvious consequence of our breach, or if we both knew it might happen when the contract was made.

11.2 We are not responsible for loss that isn't foreseeable, or for business losses such as loss of profit or business interruption, as our products are sold for domestic use.

11.3 Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can't be limited or excluded by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Events outside our control

12.1 We aren't responsible for delays or failure to perform caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as severe weather, shipping or port disruption, supplier failure, strikes or public health restrictions.

12.2 If this happens, we'll tell you as soon as possible and take reasonable steps to minimise the delay. If the delay is significant, you can cancel your order and we'll refund any payment for goods you haven't received, including any deposit.

13. Gift cards

13.1 Oriana B gift cards are valid for at least five years from the date of purchase and can be used online or in our showroom. They can't be exchanged for cash.

14. Using our website

14.1 The content on our website, including photographs, product descriptions, designs and our logo, belongs to us or our licensors. You may view and share it for personal use, but you may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written permission.

14.2 You must not misuse our website, for example by introducing viruses, attempting to gain unauthorised access, or scraping content or prices.

14.3 If you post a review or comment, it must be honest and lawful. We may remove content that is offensive, misleading or unlawful.

14.4 How we use your personal information is set out in our Privacy Policy.

15. Complaints

15.1 If you're unhappy with anything, please contact us first at hello@orianab.com. We aim to respond within 5 working days and will do our best to put things right.

15.2 If we can't resolve your complaint, you can get information on your rights from the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission. You may also be able to use the Small Claims procedure in the District Court. If you live in another EU country, the European Consumer Centre Ireland can help with cross-border complaints.

16. General

16.1 These terms are governed by the law of Ireland, and the Irish courts have jurisdiction. If you live elsewhere in the EU, you also keep the protection of any mandatory consumer laws in your country, and you can bring a claim in the courts where you live.

16.2 We may provide these terms in other languages. If there is any difference between versions, the English version applies.

16.3 If a court finds any part of these terms invalid, the rest of the terms continue to apply.

16.4 If we don't enforce one of our rights straight away, we can still enforce it later.

16.5 This contract is between you and us. No other person has any rights to enforce it.
