An Art Nouveau nasturtium from an 1896 design book.
French designer Maurice Pillard Verneuil drew this nasturtium for La Plante et ses Applications Ornementales, an 1896 study of plants as decorative motifs. His flowing Art Nouveau lines turn a garden favourite into a piece of ornament. Framed in gold, it suits a bedroom, a small hallway or a guest bathroom.
