The Delphi Floating Console was designed to solve a real layout problem: hallways and bedrooms rarely have room to spare, but both need somewhere to put things down and drawers for bits and bobs. Mounted directly to the wall, the Delphi Floating Console works as a slim console table at the front door and just as naturally as a dressing table in a bedroom, with enough surface for a lamp, a tray or a perfume collection. The open shelf, drawers and enclosed cupboard borrow their proportions from mid century design, a period that treated small storage as something to be designed properly rather than squeezed in as an afterthought and this piece exemplifies that.
