A calm, cool study of Japan's most famous mountain.
Mount Fuji has been sacred since ancient times, and its near perfect cone has inspired generations of Japanese artists, most famously Hokusai in his Thirty Six Views of Mount Fuji. This print, from a collection inspired by ukiyo-e woodblock prints, borrows that classic palette for a modern tribute. It sits beautifully in a cool toned room and makes a striking contrast against warm paint colours.
